Prior to attending law school, Crystal Ndidi Ibe attended the United States Naval Academy on a full volleyball scholarship after receiving her nomination to attend from then-Vice President Joe Biden. After 2 years at the Naval Academy, Attorney Ibe transferred to the University of Maryland Eastern Shore, graduating Magna Cum Laude with a B.A. in English in 2013. From there, she attended law school at Thurgood Marshall School of Law, where she was a member of the ABA Appellate Litigation Moot Court Team and a Senior Editor of the Thurgood Marshall Law Review. While still in law school, she published her solo-authored law review article, entitled "Feeding the Homeless: The Criminalization of a Humanitarian Act." After graduating from TMSL in 2016, Attorney Ibe passed the Texas bar exam and moved to the U.S. Virgin Islands where she worked as a Judicial Law Clerk to the Honorable Judge Jomo Meade of the Superior Court of the Virgin Islands.
Attorney Ibe is licensed to practice law in Texas, the District of Columbia, and the Northern District of Texas.
